You can admire the beauty of ethnographic collections, embroidery, folk furniture, parts of folk clothing. You will get acquainted not only with the history of breeding the Netolice horse, with the tradition of organizing not only cattle and horse fairs, but also with folk traditions throughout the Czech year. The last hall belongs to important personalities from the Kudrn family and the founder of the museum tradition in Netolice, JUDr. Otakar Kudrn.

Ethnographic exhibition, which took place in Netolice
In 1893, it laid the foundation for the later establishment of the museum in 1909. In 1913, the town museum was established on the ground floor of the town hall. In 1940, the then mayor and lawyer JUDr. Otakar Kudrna foundation, which was bequeathed by the Renaissance house, the seat of the current museum, and his extensive private collection, which forms the basis of today's museum collection. The foundation was nationalized, the property was later transferred to the town of Netolice and the two museums were merged.

Several generations of the Kudrn family were prominent citizens of the city, they were mayors, doctors, lawyers, architects, but also important patriots, patrons and collectors who traveled around the world. Thanks to their passion for collecting, the Netolice Museum has unusually large and valuable collections. Their friends included leading Czech patriots, such as Josef Kajetán Tyl and Karel Hynek Mácha, whose gifts - Karlštejn's own painting and the original Maya - have been preserved here. Memorial plaques to the museum's founder, JUDr. Otakar Kudrn (1853-1940) and the prominent native Štěpánek Netolický (1470? -1538), the founder of Czech pond farming and the Rosenberg "fischmist".

Occasional exhibitions of works of art are organized in the building. An interesting space for visitors offers an arched entrance passage with historic gables and lanterns.

The museum provides services to researchers, with loans from a rich depository it participates in organizing thematic exhibitions throughout the Czech Republic.
